I was walking in Bali, and I saw bunch a people in a clearing having a ball because somebody they really liked had just died, and i realized that everything was just how you decided to think about it. Sometimes people let the same problem make them miserable for years when they could just say “So What” That’s one of my favourite things to say. “So What”. I don’t know how I made it through all the years before I learned how to do that trick. It took a long time for me to learn it, but once you do, you never forget.
So what? I guess what I have come away with after reading this is life is what you make of it. We have been given freedoms that enable us to express ourselves. Yet, Andy is right. The beauty of life is that we are from all different parts of the world and yet, in one way or another we subconsciously are influenced by others who surround us.
For example, look at an artist like Gauguin. He went to Bali and it was the indigenous people of the land who he visited that inspired him to produce some of his most famous pieces like “Where Do We Come From What Are We Doing Where Are We Going (pictured below).”
And so i ask you… Where do we come from? What are we doing? Where are we going? So what?
